This end of terrace family home will suit anyone who needs plenty of parking and additional living space. As the cellar room and loft room are currently being used as bedrooms, this can help any growing family.
There are some lovely original features scattered around the home, such as the cast iron fireplaces and open brick feature walls in some of the rooms. The living areas are good comfortable sizes and in having a downstairs wc, as well as the upstairs bathroom, this can work well for family life.
The side access will come in handy if you enjoy cycling and need to store the bike in the rear shed, as now there is no need to bring it through the house.
THE OWNER QUOTE
I’ve genuinely loved living here. What sets this house apart is its flexibility - it adapts to how you actually live. My son claimed the basement as his bedroom and turned it into a brilliant, self-contained space that works perfectly as a teenager’s bedroom or den. I also invested in opening up the loft with a bespoke staircase, transforming it into a proper, usable room that’s worked beautifully as a guest bedroom and, at times, a modest home gym.
It’s a house that grows with you rather than boxing you in. Parking can be a challenge in this part of Maidstone, so having generous off-road parking has been a real luxury - we’ve comfortably fitted up to five cars on the drive when entertaining. The house works particularly well for entertaining - the dining room naturally becomes the heart of the house during gatherings, while the outdoor space easily handles summer BBQs and friends spilling outside. Add to that a cosy lounge with an open fire for winter evenings, and a good-sized home office for working from home, it’s been a truly wonderful place to live.
